Why walk

The Memory Walk is a mobilization effort to accompany a parent, a relative or a friend and to show solidarity with those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and with their families. Come walk with us on May 31st, 2009 and let us all break the silence and the isolation, in order for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as other related diseases, to be recognized as real people and to be able to live their life until the very end. This provincial fundraising effort will ensure that the serivices provided become more accessible, more flexible and more numerous.

The Québec Alzheimer movement is made up of 21 societies spread out across the province of Québec. These societies are registered as community organizations and grouped into one federation so that they are recognized at the provincial level.
