1) I requested a new password, but I haven’t received yet.
It might take a few minutes before the system generates a new password. If you don’t receive an email from "info@alzheimerquebec.ca" in your inbox, check your junk folder. Make sure your junk filter accepts emails from "info@alzheimerquebec.ca" in order to continue receiving information originating from this email address.
2) I forgot my username. How do I retrieve it?
If you remember the email address registered in your account: click on the "LOG IN" link in the top right-hand corner of any page. On the right-hand side of the log in form is the “Lost your password” link. Click on this link and enter your email address. An email with your username and a new password (from "info@alzheimerquebec.ca") will be sent to you. Make sure your junk filter accepts emails coming from this address.
If you have forgotten the email address registered in your account: email info@alzheimerquebec.ca and include your contact information.
3) I don’t remember my username and password.
If you remember the email address registered in your account, click on the "LOG IN" link in the top right-hand corner of any page. On the right-hand side of the log in form is the "Lost your password?" link. Click on this link and enter your email address. 4) Why do I need to provide my detailed contact information and telephone number?
Your contact information is used by the Québec Federation of Alzheimer Societies so that the online donation system can verify your identity, issue and income tax receipt or contact you if need be. Your contact information is not given out or sold to a third party and will remain confidential.
5) Why do I need to provide an email address? Will I be receiving junk mail subsequently?
Your email address is used for identification purposes in our computer system, to send you an electronic income tax receipt if you make a donation and to contact you. In addition, if you registered to our newsletter, your email address is thus essential. You will not be receiving junk mail subsequently.
6) Is Paypal a secure way of making a payment?
Paypal is a highly secure service where you can enter your personal information to make your payment. Make sure to check the amount of your donation in the top righ-hand corner of the Paypal form. For more information on Paypal, please visit: http://www.paypal.com.
7) Can I make a payment other than by using Paypal or a credit card ?
Yes. Please contact the Alzheimer Society in your region or the Québec Federation of Alzheimer Societies in order to make your payment by phone or by mail.
8) If I can’t make it to the Walk, will my registration fee (or my family’s registration fee) be reimbursed?
The Walk will take place, rain or shine. If you cannot participate in the Walk for personal reasons, your registration fee will not be reimbursed.
9) How can I modify my goal?
In your account, click on "Modify my goal" and enter a new amount.
10) I can’t add my photo to my profile.
The system accepts JPG (JPEG) and GIF files only. The photo must be less than 3 Mb.
11) I want to see what is happening in my region, but I don’t know how.
Select your region by clicking on the down arrow or on "SELECT YOUR REGION".
12) I selected a region in the dropdown list. However, I would like to contact the Alzheimer Federation, but only the contact information for the region selected appears. Where can I obtain general contact information?
Click on the Rona Memory Walk logo at the top left-hand corner of any page. You will return to the home page and you will obtain the Québec Federation of Alzheimer Societies’ contact information by clicking on "CONTACT US".
13) What is the purpose of the RSS feed?
To keep you informed in real time of the latest news concerning the Memory Walk, register to the RSS feed by clicking on the link at the bottom of any page.
